Air Fryer Crispy Tofu

A simple and delicious air fryer recipe for crispy tofu.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 block of firm tofu (400g)
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch (60g)
  • 1 tsp of salt (5g)
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper (2g)
  • 1/4 tsp of garlic powder (1g)
  • 1/4 tsp of paprika (1g)
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil (30ml)
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce (15ml)
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup (15ml)
  • 1 tsp of rice vinegar (5ml)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the tofu into small cubes.
  3. Pat the tofu dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  4. Season the tofu with your desired seasonings.
  5. Place the tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving some space between each piece.
  6. Cook the tofu for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Check the tofu for crispiness and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes if needed, until golden brown.
  8. Remove the tofu from the air fryer and serve hot.
