Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

A simple recipe for asparagus wrapped in bacon and baked to perfection

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Rinse asparagus under cold water, then pat dry with paper towels
  4. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer
  6. Drizzle with a small amount of oil to prevent sticking
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and golden brown
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving
