Bagel with Smoked Salmon and Sprouts

A simple, elegant appetizer or snack featuring smoked salmon, cream cheese, and alfalfa sprouts on toasted bagels.

  • 120 g smoked salmon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toast bagels for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  3. Spread cream cheese on toasted bagels.
  4. Top with smoked salmon, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Garnish with sprouts.
  6. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Slice in half, if desired, for easier handling.
  8. Present on a platter or individual plates, garnished with additional sprouts if desired.
