Beef Tacos

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 8 -10 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup cooked Mexican rice
  • 1 cup cooked black beans

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned.
  4. Transfer the beef to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until cooked to desired doneness.
  5. Warm tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
  6. Assemble the tacos by slicing the beef and placing it onto a warmed tortilla.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.
