- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning and stir until well combined.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is fragrant.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Let the sauce cool to room temperature.
- Whisk in 1/4 cup of heavy cream until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer the sauce over low heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
- Serve the Cajun butter sauce hot over desired dishes.
