  1. Layout a couple of fun placemats on the table to create a visually appealing base for the cheese charcuterie board.
  2. Choose a platter, which can be a big board, tray, or dish, to arrange the various components of the cheese charcuterie board.
  3. Select three types of cheese, such as soft, firm, and blue cheese, and cut them into small wedges for easy serving.
  4. Fold cured meats like prosciutto, salami, or pepperoni in half to create a visually appealing presentation.
  5. Arrange two types of nuts, such as candied pecans or walnuts, on the platter to add crunch and texture.
  6. Prepare crostini by brushing thin slices of baguette with olive oil and broiling until golden brown, then arrange them on the platter along with simple crackers.
  7. Add something sweet, such as dried sweet apricots, grapes, or a jar of fig jam, to the platter to balance out the flavors.
  8. Place olives on the platter to add a salty and savory element.
