Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 to 8 ounces semi-hard cheeses (gouda cheddar, and havarti)
  • 10 to 15 red grapes
  • 1/2 cup marcona almonds
  • 2 to 3 mini cucumbers sliced into rounds
  • 4 to 5 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 3 ounces salami
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup candied ginger
  • Handful of olives
  • Honey for serving

Method

Instructions
  1. Select a cheese board large enough to accommodate your desired tree shape, such as an 18-inch diameter board.
  2. Lay out a roll of string to create an even triangle outline on the board, taping each of the three corners securely to hold the shape in place.
  3. Arrange a single layer of crackers to form the first row at the base of your triangle outline.
  4. Place sticks of your semi-hard cheeses (gouda, cheddar, and havarti) above the cracker row, followed by a row of 10 to 15 red grapes.
  5. Position two distinct rows of sliced mini cucumbers above the grapes.
  6. Mound the 1/2 cup marcona almonds in a layer above the cucumbers, filling in the space.
  7. Create two layers using the 1/2 cup fresh raspberries, followed by a generous amount of cubed semi-hard cheeses.
  8. Fold and layer the 3 ounces of salami above the cubed cheese.
  9. Place additional crackers to fill in the next section of the tree.
  10. Cut and place decorative star or snowflake shapes from your semi-hard cheeses at the very top of the tree to act as the tree topper.
  11. Scatter the 1/4 cup candied ginger amongst the arranged ingredients to add sparkle and visual interest.
  12. Insert 4 to 5 sprigs of fresh rosemary between some of the rows, allowing them to protrude slightly to evoke the look of evergreen branches.
  13. Distribute a handful of olives strategically throughout the tree to resemble ornaments.
  14. Carefully remove the string outline from the board.
  15. Serve the Christmas Tree Charcuterie Board immediately with honey on the side for drizzling.
