- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Whisk in flour, until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
