- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, ½ cup breadcrumbs, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 tsp dried oregano, salt, and pepper (to taste) in a shallow bowl.
- Dip each drained and rinsed artichoke heart into the 1 beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated.
- Transfer the egg-dipped artichoke heart into the Parmesan mixture, tossing gently to coat completely. Place the coated artichoke hearts onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
- Spray the coated artichoke hearts lightly with olive oil spray (or drizzle with a small amount of olive oil) for extra crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
