  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup of jam (preferably fig or quince)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry thawed

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Wrap the brie cheese in pastry, if using, or place it in a baking dish.
  3. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is softened and slightly melted.
  4. Spread a layer of jam over the baked brie cheese.
  5. Serve the baked brie with crackers, bread, or fruit, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
  6. Monitor the temperature and texture of the cheese, ensuring it doesn't overmelt, until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  7. Remove the baked brie from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with additional jam and fresh herbs, if desired, and serve immediately.
