- Wash and clean the area where you will be preparing the fruit salad.
- Choose your desired fruits for the salad, considering the typical fruits used in a fruit salad, such as strawberries, grapes, kiwi, and pineapple.
- Peel and chop the fruits into bite-sized pieces, making sure they are all similarly sized for even distribution in the salad.
- Mix all the chopped fruits together in a large bowl until they are well combined.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice into a small bowl, using about 2-3 tablespoons.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey to the lime juice and whisk until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Pour the honey lime dressing over the fruit salad and toss until all the fruits are coated with the dressing.
- Chill the fruit salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the fruit salad cold, garnished with a sprinkle of lime zest or a few fresh mint leaves if desired.
