Grilled Beef Kabobs

Marinated beef and vegetables grilled to perfection

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb. boneless sirloin steak cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 bottle (8 oz.) French or Russian salad dressing
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 8 to 10 slices bacon halved
  • 1 sweet red pepper cut into chunks
  • 1 green pepper cut into chunks
  • 2 sm. zucchini squash cut into chunks
  • 8 md. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 lg. onion quartered (optional)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Place beef in a shallow glass pan.
  2. Combine salad dressing, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Pour over beef.
  4. Cover and refrigerate 8-24 hours.
  5. Drain and reserve marinade.
  6. Wrap bacon around beef cubes.
  7. On metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternately thread beef and vegetables.
  8. Grill over hot coals for 10-15 minutes or until the desired doneness is reached.
  9. Baste frequently with marinade.
