- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up into small pieces, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until the liquid has reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the sour cream and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the ground beef mixture over cooked noodles, garnished with chopped parsley or dill, if desired.
