Holiday Bacon Appetizers

Bacon-wrapped appetizers with cream cheese and puff pastry

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1 package of frozen puff pastry thawed

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
  2. Cut the bacon into 1-inch pieces
  3. Wrap each piece of bacon around a water chestnut or a scallop, if using, securing with a toothpick
  4. Place the bacon-wrapped appetizers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease
  7. Serve warm and enjoy
