Honey Roasted Parsnips

  • 2 large parsnips (500g)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 tsp black pepper
  • 5 tsp garlic powder
  • 25 tsp paprika

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel the parsnips and cut them into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces.
  3. Toss the parsnip pieces with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl until they are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the parsnip pieces out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Drizzle honey over the parsnip pieces.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the parsnips are tender and caramelized, flipping them halfway through.
  7. Remove the parsnips from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  8. Serve the honey roasted parsnips hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
