  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
  • Salt to taste
  • Whipped cream for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined
  3. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish
  4. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned
  5. Whisk together condensed milk, egg yolks, and key lime juice
  6. Pour the filling into the baked pie crust
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, until the filling is set
  8. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
  9. Top with whipped cream, if desired
  10. Serve chilled, garnished with lime zest or wedges
