Matcha Green Tea Latte

A refreshing green tea latte made with matcha powder, milk, and sugar.

  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 3 oz milk (or 90 ml)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sugar (or 15 grams)
  • 3 oz hot water (or 90 ml)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Ice (optional)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Boil water in the pot.
  2. Remove the pot from the heat source.
  3. Wait for 1-2 minutes to let the water cool down slightly.
  4. Add matcha powder to the water and whisk until smooth.
  5. Add milk, vanilla extract, and sugar to the matcha mixture and whisk until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into a large mug.
  7. Serve hot, with whipped cream and ice if desired.
