Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

A simple and delicious side dish made with fresh asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and baked to perfection.

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 6 slices of prosciutto
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Rinse asparagus under cold water, then pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Wrap each asparagus spear with prosciutto, leaving a small space between each wrap.
  5. Place the prosciutto-wrapped asparagus on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
