Sheet Pan Lemon-Herb Salmon with Asparagus

A simple and flavorful recipe for salmon and asparagus cooked on a sheet pan with lemon and herbs.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  3. Rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry with paper towels.
  4. Season the salmon with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Place the salmon fillets on one side of the prepared sheet pan.
  6. Toss the asparagus spears with olive oil, salt, and pepper on the other side of the sheet pan.
  7. Drizzle lemon juice over the salmon fillets.
  8. Sprinkle chopped herbs over the salmon fillets.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
