Spicy Garlic Butter

A spicy garlic butter recipe made with softened butter, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until foamy.
  3. Add garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in spicy ingredients (if using) and cook for an additional 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Strain the garlic butter mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl.
  7. Discard solids and let the butter cool to room temperature.
  8. Whisk the cooled butter until smooth and creamy.
  9. Transfer the spicy garlic butter to an airtight container.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
